Situated at a distance of 10 KM from Gandhinagar, consisting of population of nearly 10000, main population of Thakor and other community, having school facility upto 10 th standard, nearly 1700 students including 700 girls study here, in last decade the standard of education has been improved.

AMBAJI MATA Temple is attraction of this village, on BHADARVA SUD 8 MELA is organize, some 55 – 60 years back Plague spread at nearby Kalol to avoid infection spreading a NAV CHANDI YAGNA was organized which ended on Kartak Sud 15, Puja is performed in every house of this village on that day every year.

SHANKER BHAGWAN Temple is also a beautiful temple, on every Janmastami day a religion function is organized, even Jain Dearasar, Swaminarayan Temple etc are also there.
