Bhagwan: “SHREE CHANDRAPRABHU SWAMI”

Jornang is situated in Mehsana District, nearby railway staion is Ambaliasan, bus and Auto rickshaw are available, consists of nearly 8000 of population, mainly Patidar community, nearly 60 families are there from our caste, mainly settled in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune.

Village consists of ‘CHANDRAPRABHU DERASAR, UPASRAY, KUNTESHWER MAHADEV TEMPLE, RAM TEMPLE, SMALL TEMPLE OF KARNIKA MATA, VERAI MATA, BAHUCHAR MATA, AMBAJI MATA, PIPLAJ MATA.

JORNANG JAIN SHWETAMBER MURTIPUJAK SANGH was established 60 years back to look after the administration of ‘CHANDRAPRABHU DERASAR, UPASRAY,' main Bhagwan Chandraprabhuswami along with Shree Ajitnath and Shree Sambhavnath are eshtablished in Derasar.

Every year on VAISHKH VAD PACHAM an establishment day the function is organized for “DHWAJA AROHAN” (FLAG HOSTING) Puja is performed followed by lunch.

In 1991 on occasion of completion of 75 years of ‘CHANDRAPRABHU DERASAR,' Platinum Jubilee function was arranged, on this occasion a Directory containing the details of village addresses of the Jain family along with the detail of their married daughters were published and distributed, which is much useful on the occasion of Jornang Jain Sangh social and religious functions.
